This beautiful old farmhouse is situation conveniently between downtown Durango and the gorgeous San Juan Mountains, on a country road that runs parallel to the Animas River.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the whole home and lot. This is our personal home that we live in seasonally, and as a result, the kitchen is stocked better than Airbnb you've ever stayed in! We also leave children's books, some toys, and lots of board games for your use. Other than that, we move everything else out so it's YOUR space!

Loved the farmhouse charm. Location was peaceful and beautiful with easy access to Durango and Hermosa including the Durango Hot Springs, James Ranch, and Honeyville. We have two small kids who absolutely loved the trampoline and playset, as well as the secret movie room and all the games and books that were available. We enjoyed cooking a lot with all the great kitchen appliances and the Traeger grill. Instuctions were clear and everything was labeled well for an easy stay. Starlink worked great for working remotely.

This place is great! Definitely somewhere you can settle in and enjoy. Access to town is easy and a beautiful short drive. The property is gorgeous. Sarah is a great host, helpful and responsive! She provided great recommendations for things to do with our littles. The house is lovely and split up nicely to have kids and adults. It is very kid friendly but for more 3+ year olds. The photos accurately represent the property so we knew we would be doing a bit of chasing with stairs and drawers/cabinets that is pretty standard with a 1-2 year old. I would book this home again in a heartbeat. We didn’t even get to explore it all in our few days. Thanks for a great stay.

There are Ubers available, and a bus that runs up and down Main Street, but generally we would recommend having your own vehicle.
